On call substitute job position
Small World Learning Centre, requires on call substitute staff to work in our child care programs when regular educators are off. This is to work with children from the age of 18 months to 12 years in our full day and part day programs.
We are seeking individuals who enjoy being outdoors (for most of the day in all kinds of weather), are positive, energetic, flexible and enjoy working with children.
Must have a recent: 1. Vulnerable Sector Check; 2. Child Abuse Registry Check and current 3. First Aid with Infant CPR. Early Childhood Education Certification Level 1, 2 or 3 an asset. Call your local police or RCMP station to inquire how to obtain your Vulnerable Sector Check. Hours & Days: Monday through Friday- Full day programs (ages 18 months to 5 years)- 7:30 to 5:00 pm- 3 classrooms; After School (Grade Primary to age 12): 2:40 to 5:00 pm and full days during school in-service, Christmas & March breaks (2 classrooms) ; Forest & Nature Program (age 3 and up): 8:30 to 12:00 T/W/T
Bridgewater Elementary School location
BAP program: after school from 2:15 to 5:00 (Preprimary to Grade 6) Monday through Friday
